Our Story

The Fight Against Malaria Foundation (FAMF) was established in October 2020 with a shared passion for combating the devastating effects of Malaria. This group of like-minded individuals came together with the goal of providing humanitarian aid to those in need and giving back to society. The foundation conducts outreaches that involve the distribution of materials, testing, fumigation, and awareness talks to educate people on the dangers of Malaria.

Our primary objective is to support the Federal Ministry of Health and other health agencies in reducing the incidence of Malaria and other related diseases. We are committed to working towards the complete eradication of Malaria in Nigeria, and we have established eight major divisions within our organization to ensure proper coordination and effective implementation of our programs.

We understand the detrimental impact that Malaria has on society, and we are dedicated to using our resources to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve. By collaborating with other organizations, we believe that we can make a significant difference in the fight against Malaria and related illnesses.

At FAMF, we are passionate about creating a better future for generations to come, and we invite you to join us in our mission to eradicate Malaria and promote a healthier world.

A Letter from the Board

FAMF LOGO

The Fight Against Malaria Foundation is primarily dedicated to eradicating malaria, a preventable and deadly disease that disproportionately affects vulnerable communities worldwide.

At our Foundation, we believe that every person has the right to live a healthy and productive life, free from the burden of malaria and other non-communicable diseases. That is why we work tirelessly to raise awareness about the importance of prevention, early detection, and treatment of this disease.

Our efforts include distributing insecticide-treated bed nets, providing education on the proper use of these nets, and supporting access to life-saving malaria treatments. We also work closely with local communities and governments to implement sustainable, evidence-based disease control programs.

We believe that by working together, we can achieve our vision of a world free from malaria. We invite you to join us in this important mission by supporting our efforts, spreading the word about the importance of malaria prevention, and advocating for increased funding and resources for malaria control programs.

Sincerely,

Simon

Country Director,

Fight Against Malaria Foundation.
